9/11 - Run to Remember, in cooperation with several businesses the Metro West Firefighters Union and the Fire District will host a 5K to remember the lives lost on 9/11 and to raise money for local charities.
9/25-9/26 - Wildwood BBQ Bash, Metro West will be teaching children the importance of grill safety throughout the event.
9/18 - Community CPR Course
10/9 - The City of Ellisville will host their second annual 5K Run/Walk in Bluebird Park to benefit Special Operations Warrior Foundation charity
10/10 - The Metro West Fire Protection District will host our annual "Safety Day" at Metro West Station 3 in Wildwood.

This month Metro West launched another new program to help in the reduction of youth injuries. The new “Metro West Bicycle Helmet” program is now available to the public. The program is modeled off of St. Louis County’s program with a few additions. Helmets are being distributed at each Metro West station at no cost to the public. read more

The Metro West Fire Protection District wants to partner to provide you and your staff with CPR and AED training. As we have seen time and time again, emergencies happen when we least expect them. Often times the adults responsible in a classroom environment are unprepared to help render aid and lifesaving skills that, in some cases, save lives. In addition to children, training for these types of emergencies enables us to be prepared for colleagues, family members, or friends who may suffer a cardiac arrest, choking or other life threatening emergencies. read more
